The 2018 Australian $2 Red Poppy Remembrance Day Armistice 100-year Centenary Coin in a RAM card has been honoured with the term "Their Pride Our Spirit". It is to remind us of Remembrance Day, the end of the First World War, at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, and to commemorate the 100th year (centenary) since that first day, originally called Armistice Day.
The coin depicts a Red Poppy that grew profusely the first spring after the end of the 1st World War in the fields of France and Belgium, said to symbolise the bloodshed by those who gave their lives fighting that war. After the Second World War, Armistice Day was changed to Remembrance Day in honour of their sacrifice.
