Warranty Statement All disk and tape products are warranted to operate in accordance with published specifications for a period of one year from the date of shipment. The product warranty will apply when the product is properly installed and used in accordance with the documentation supplied with the product. Spectra Logic will provide telephone support from 8:00 to 17:00 during the standard business week of the country where the unit is registered, excluding any nationally recognized holidays in that location. All warranties are void if the product is modified or the product’s failure is the result of an accident, abuse or misapplication. As the exclusive remedy and Spectra Logic's sole obligation for breach of this warranty, Spectra Logic shall replace the defective product with a non-defective product. Parts shipments will be shipped ground within 48 hours of diagnosis of a failed component. Customer is responsible for replacing all defective components and for shipping the defective product to Spectra Logic within five business days of receiving the replacement equipment. Returns must be delivered to the facility specified by Spectra Logic. Return authorization instructions will be provided by Spectra Logic. All returns must be authorized by Spectra Logic and no returns may be made without Spectra Logic issuing a “Return Material Authorization” number. Spectra Logic reserves the right to modify its product warranty by displaying such changes on its website. EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY PROVIDED, SPECTRA LOGIC MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.
