The Tandberg External RDX drive (8782-RDX) is a USB 3.0 is the external docking station for use in many applications like servers, PC's and NAS. The Tandberg RDX Quickstor external drive is the best removable backup solution for your data when LTO tape is not cost effective due to the drive cost. Tandberg RDX cartridges are available in 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, 4TB & 5TB which will backup your data fast, reliably and cost effectively. The Tandberg RDX external cartridge drive uses a USB 3.0 interface and is black in colour.

The Tandberg RDX cartridges are designed to withstand drop shock of up to 1m to a concrete floor and have a 10 year media archival life. It supports Filesystems such as NTFS, FAT32, exFAT, ex2, ex3, ex4 and Mac OS Extended (HFS Plus). Unlike LTO tape, you don't have to clean the drive and you can use any capacity of cartridge in your RDX drive. If daily backups are small you can use 500GB or 1TB cartridges, and if weekly or monthly backups are larger you can use 2TB, 4TB & 5TB cartridges or multiple 5TB cartridges.
