Exabyte Mammoth 8mm Tape Cleaning Cartridge 312205

Exabyte MammothTape Cleaning Cartridge 312205 is designed to clean and optimise the performance of all 8mm Mammoth tape drives. The Exabyte 8mm Mammoth tape drive cleaning tape can be used in Mammoth-1, Mammoth-LT or M1 tape drive and Mammoth-2 or M2 tape drives if non-SmartClean AME media is used. Always refer to your tape drives manual for details on how often cleaning is needed.

These Exabyte 8mm cleaning tapes will clean 8mm Video8 or Video 8, Hi8, and Digital 8 camcorders and handycams, including the heads and tape capstans in the tape path. Cleaning is a simple process for camcorders; insert the cassette into the camcorder and press play or the start button! After running the cleaning tape for 10 seconds press the stop button. Do not rewind the tape. When it needs to be cleaned again repeat the process. When it finally reaches the end of the tape, rewind it and start using it again. You should be able to re-use a cleaning tape at least once more.
