HPE StoreEver MSL LTO-9 Ultrium 45000 SAS Drive Upgrade Kit R6Q75A

The HPE StoreEver MSL LTO-9 Ultrium 45000 SAS Tape Drive Upgrade Kit R6Q75A is a half-height LTO-9 SAS tape drive for use with the HPE StoreEver 1/8 Autoloaders, MSL2024, MSL4048, MSL3040, MSL6480 or MSL8096 LTO tape libraries. This HPE MSL LTO9 tape drive connects using a SAS 12Gbps interface. The HPE LTO-9 SAS drive upgrade kit offers a native capacity of up to 12TB and a compressed capacity of up to 30TB, with data transfer rates of up to 360 MB/sec and 750 MB/sec, respectively, when using an LTO-9 data cartridge. This MSL LTO Ultrium9 tape library half-height drive can read and write to LTO-9 and LTO-8 tapes.

This drive can be added to an existing library with room for more drives, replace a failed drive (although talk to us about our Tape Drive Diagnosis Service to see if it can be repaired), or upgrade an existing HPE Autoloader or MSL tape library.
