The HPE LTO Ultrium9 45000 SAS External Tape drive kit BC042A comes with the drive, a HPE LTO-9 tape and a minSAS High Density to SF8088 cable so you can start backing up straight away! These drive kits come with a HPE 3 years parts exchange warranty with next business day response (NBD) to ensure you are always able to rely on your HPE LTO9 drive to backup, archive and restore.
This drive will read from and write to LTO-9 tapes at up to 400MB/sec with a capacity of up to 18TB native or up to 1,000MB/sec with a capacity of up to 45TB compressed and can read from and write to LTO-8 tapes giving you flexibility when you upgrade.

The HPE LTO Ultrium9 45000 SAS External Tape drive BC042A are recommended to use the HPE LTO Ultrium Universal Cleaning Cartridge C7978A to keep the drive clean.
