The IBM 8mm AME Cleaning Cartridge 35L1409 is designed for use with IBM 20GB and 60GB 8mm M2 or Mammoth 2 tape drives that use the 170m and 225m AME tape cartridges. When writing data, the quality of your media is every bit as important as the quality of your tape drive, which is why clean tapes are so important for your tape drive's reliability. Designed specifically for Mammoth 2 or M2 tape drives, IBM's AME cleaning tapes are non-abrasive, reducing the mechanical wear of your Mammoth drive and its tape heads.

IBM has discontinued the 8mm AME Cleaning Cartridge (35L1409), and we have limited stock remaining. These tapes are also available to overseas buyers, so please use "contact us" if you wish to purchase some, as our online store is only available to Australian and New Zealand buyers.
