Imation 8mm D8 112M 5GB/10GB Data & Video Tape Cartridge D8-112

The Imation 8mm D8 Data Tape D8-112 40858 is a Data8 (Digital 8) format tape cartridge. The Imation 8mm D8-112 data cartridge is 112m long and holds up to 5GB of data at native capacity and up to 10 GB at compressed capacity. Imation D8 112M 8mm data tapes have a native capacity of up to 5.0GB in an 8500 drive and 2.5GB in an 8200 drive. They can also be used for reading and writing on an Eliant 5/10GB drive and can be read on an M1 (LT) and M1 drive.

These Imation 8mm 112m D8 tape cartridges are the first generation of videotapes used for storing data and can therefore also be used in Video8 and Hi8 Handycams and Camcorders. They are suitable for all video recorders that carry the Hi8, 8, or Video 8 logo. The Imation 8mm 112m tape cassette offers up to 90 minutes of recording time in Video8 and Hi8 formats, and 60 minutes in Digital8 format.
