Imation 8mm D8 112M 5GB/10GB Data & Video Tape Cartridge D8-112

The Imation 8mm D8 Data Tape D8-112 40858 is a Data8 or Digital 8 format tape cartridge. The Imation 8mm D8-112 data cartridge is 112m long and holds up to 5GB of data in native capacity and up to 10Gb of data in compressed capacity. Imation D8 112M 8mm data tapes have a native capacity of up to 5.0GB in a 8500 drive and 2.5GB in a 8200 drive. They can also be used for read and write in an Eliant drive 5/10GB, and can be read in an M1 (LT) and M1 drive.

These Imation 8mm 112m tape cartridges are the first generation of video tapes used for storing data and therefore can also be used in Video8 and Hi8 Handycams and Camcorders. They are equivalent to a 90 minute video tape cassette and are suitable for all video recorders carrying the Hi8, 8 or Video 8 logo.
