Tri-Optic LTO Custom Tape Barcode Labels - sheet of 20 labels

The LTO Ultrium custom tape barcode labels are sold in sheets of 20 labels and are customised to your exact needs. We can adjust colours and styles, and include additional characters or symbols that can be part of the barcode or as separate non-barcode characters. Price is per sheet of 20 labels. Setup fees apply for new label sequences. You can have your purchased tapes pre-labelled so they arrive ready to use. Most manufacturers recommend a 6-character label (alpha-numeric or just numeric) with an LTO identifier at the end. For example, the identifier is L8 for LTO8 tapes.
LTO Tape Barcode Labels are used on all tapes used in LTO tape autoloaders and LTO tape libraries. These LTO tape barcode labels allow you to identify each tape individually with a human-readable label and a barcode for the tape library to read. LTO labels can be created horizontally and vertically, depending on the library requirements.
Labels are suitable for the following tapes: LTO1, LTO2, LTO3, LTO4, LTO5, LTO6, LTO7, LTO7 M8, LTO8, LTO9, LTO10 and LTO cleaning tapes. Diagnostic LTO tape barcode labels are also available.
If the label sequence is new, a one-off setup fee applies. Once the labels have been set up, there are no further setup fees for that sequence for the next order if you continue from the last label. You buy the sheets of the following labels in the sequence.
They can be numeric only, such as 000001, or include 1, 2, or 3 letters followed by numbers, usually up to 6 characters, though more may be allowed depending on the library and its firmware level. We can also set up labels to reflect the day, week, month, or year, and the tape number in the group, such as MON123, WK3DY1, JAN010, or EOFY10, but as these are hand-typed, they are more expensive due to higher labour costs.
