Description
The Royal Australian Mint 2021 Donation Dollar Colour $1 uncirculated coin comes from a RAM bag, is gold-coloured, a great Australian collectable, and should be part of any collection. This coin features a green inner circle with 7 concentric rings at the centre of the reverse side, representing a donation. The Minister for Housing and Assistant Treasurer Michael Sukkar said at the time of release that the coins serve as a reminder to give rather than just spend the currency.
The obverse features the sixth crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the George IV State Diadem and the Victorian Coronation Necklace. This obverse effigy was designed by Jody Clark (indicated by the "JC" initials).
The total RAM mintage is 12.9 million coins, making it a relatively scarce coin. It is made from 92% copper, 6% aluminium, and 2% nickel, with a diameter of 25 mm, a thickness of 2.5 mm, and a weight of 9 grams, the same as all other RAM $1 gold-coloured coins.
