The Overland Tandberg LTO8 Ultrium 8 Data Cartridge 434175 holds up to 12TB in native or uncompressed capacity and up to 30TB of compressed capacity. The Overland Tandberg LTO 8 tape cartridges have a transfer rate of up to 300MB/sec while writing data in native capacity and up to 750MB/sec while writing data in compressed capacity.

As the LTO Ultrium technology is an open technology, therefore these Overland Tandberg LTO 8 tapes are certified for read and write use in any brand of LTO8 and LTO9 tape drives. Therefore Tandberg LTO-8 data cartridges can be used in any brand of stand-alone tape drive, or a LTO8 tape drive installed in an autoloader or tape library displaying the LTO Ultrium logo.
