The Proton T-1.5 automatic drawer degausser is a drawer style degausser that destroys data on hard drives and other magnetic media like tapes. The Proton T-1.5 Hard Drive Degausser permanently erases data from hard drives and various magnetic tape media using it's minimum field strength of 15,000 gauss or 1.5 Tesla, and a maximum or peak field strength of 17,000 or 1.7 Tesla making it capable of sanitizing the highest coercivity magnetic media available today. The T-1.5 will allow users to continue to keep pace as hard drive and tape technology advances for many years into the future.

The Proton T-1.5 degausser is the fastest electromagnetic pulse degausser available. It is simple to operate as you just insert media into the drawer, close the drawer and push the start button. Internal software acts as a built in safeguard and assures the unit is operating at peak performance for each cycle.
