Description

The Proton T-1 degausser is a hard disk drive (HDD) and tape drawer degausser which is automatic and economical. The T-1 Proton degausser produces a 10,000 gauss (1 Tesla) magnetic field which will erase all magnetic HDD's and magnetic tapes with that power.

  • Erases magnetic media longitudinally and perpendicularly which includes all 3.5" and 2.5" hard disk drives and LTO, T10k, 3592, SDLT, DLT, DAT, DDS, VXA, 8MM, 9940, 9840, 3590, 3490, 3480 and floppy disks.
  • Simple operation, just insert the HDD or tape in the T-1 drawer and 15 seconds later it is degaussed
  • LCD screen displays the magnetic field strength of every cycle to guarantee performance and counts the number of erasures.
  • Permanently erases data so it is forensically unrecoverable
  • The Proton TS-1 is extremely compact and portable
