Description

The Sony LTO1 or LTO Ultrium 1 data cartridge LTX100G stores up to 100GB native capacity at a speed up to 20 MB/sec, and up to 200GB compressed capacity at a speed up to 40 MB/sec. The Sony LTX100G LTO1 tape uses the MP (Metal Particle) magnetic material technology and can be read and written to using any LTO 1 Ultrium 1 drive, can be read and written to in any LTO 2 Ultrium 2 drive, and can still be read in any LTO 3 Ultrium 3 drive. All Sony products we sell have the support of the Australian warranty to protect your investment. Sony LTO Ultrium tapes can be purchased individually, by the box of 5 or carton of 20.

For the option of LTO barcode labels attached to your tapes please see Application of Tape Barcode Labels for details. Drives that use the Sony LTO Ultrium 1 data cartridges LTX100G are recommended to use a LTO Ultrium Universal Cleaning Cartridge to keep the drive clean.

The Sony Ultrium LTO 1 Data Cartridge has high-speed access by using LTO Cartridge Memory (LTO-CM) and is a highly reliable and durable tape technology. The Sony LTO generation 1 tape is 8.9um thick, 609m long and has a coercitivity of 157 kA/m. The Sony LTO Ultrium 1 tape has 384 tracks.

  • The required transportation conditions are: 0-49 degrees celsius 5-80% relative humidity
  • The required operating conditions are: 10-45 degrees celsius 10-80% relative humidity
  • The required short-term storage conditions are: 16-35 degrees celsius 10-80% relative humidity
  • The required archive storage conditions are: 16-25 degrees celsius 20-50% relative humidity

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY FOR SONY STORAGE MEDIA PRODUCTS (AIT / AIT Turbo / S-AIT / DDS / DAT72 / DLT / Super DLT / LTO / 3.5” MO / 5.25” MO / D8 / Mammoth, as Sony branded storage media) Sony Recording Media & Energy Latin America (“Sony”) warrants this product (“Product”) against defects in material or workmanship for its normal life. If Sony finds the product contains any such defect, Sony will either replace the product at no charge or refund the purchase price shown on your receipt. This limited lifetime warranty applies only to the original end-user purchaser and therefore is not transferable. Please keep the original copy of your purchase receipt for any future warranty claim. This warranty does not cover any damage or defect due to accident, misuse, abuse or neglect. To obtain warranty service in Latin America, please contact our authorized Sony reseller where the product was purchased from and return the defective item along with a report of the problem (including any error message or type of equipment in which it was used).
