Sony LTO1 Ultrium 1 Data Cartridge LTX100G

The Sony LTO1 or LTO Ultrium 1 data cartridge LTX100G stores up to 100GB of native capacity at speeds up to 20 MB/sec, and up to 200GB of compressed capacity at speeds up to 40 MB/sec. The Sony LTX100G LTO1 tape uses the MP (Metal Particle) magnetic material technology and can be read and written to using any LTO 1 Ultrium 1 drive, can be read and written to in any LTO 2 Ultrium 2 drive, and can still be read in any LTO 3 Ultrium 3 drive. All Sony products we sell are covered by the Australian warranty to protect your investment. Sony LTO Ultrium tapes can be purchased individually.

The Sony Ultrium LTO 1 Data Cartridge offers high-speed access using LTO Cartridge Memory (LTO-CM) and is a highly reliable, durable tape technology. The Sony LTO generation 1 tape is 8.9 µm thick, 609m long and has a coercivity of 157 kA/m. The Sony LTO Ultrium 1 tape has 384 tracks.

• The required transportation conditions are: 0-49 degrees Celsius, 5-80% relative humidity
• The required operating conditions are: 10-45 degrees Celsius, 10-80% relative humidity
• The required short-term storage conditions are: 16-35 degrees Celsius, 10-80% relative humidity
• The required archive storage conditions are: 16-25 degrees Celsius, 20-50% relative humidity

As all LTO1 tapes have been discontinued, the Sony LTO1 tapes are equivalent to these other brands:
