Description
Fujifilm or Fuji LTO Ultrium 10 data cartridges are rewritable and offer up to 30 TB of native capacity, with a native data transfer rate of up to 400 MB/s. They can also write up to 75 TB of compressed capacity, achieving a compressed data transfer rate of up to 1,000 MB/s (1 GB/s). The Fujifilm LTO Ultrium 10 data cartridge (LTO-10) offers a 66% increase in storage capacity over the previous generation, providing long-term data preservation and rapid, reliable access. There appears to be no increase in speed compared to LTO-9 tapes.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL FUJIFILM LTO TAPES WILL INCREASE ON 1ST AUGUST, 2026 & LTO10 TAPES WILL INCREASE BY OVER 3%!
The Fuji LTO10 data cartridge measures 1,035m (1.03km or 3,395.66 feet) in length and 12.65m in width. The Fujifilm LTO 10 Ultrium tape cartridge is compatible with all LTO-10 or LTO Ultrium 10 tape drives and libraries. High-resolution 4K and 8K video, Big Data, AI and the ever-increasing data requirements of businesses make the Fuji LTO 10 tape cartridge a perfect solution for more reliable, cost-effective archive, low-access, and managed storage.
Please note: a new LTO10 Ultrium 40TB/100TB data cartridge has just been released. A new webpage for the tape will be created as soon as it is available; however, the lead time is up to 1 year because major cloud and AI providers have reserved stock well in advance. In fact, this 30TB/75TB data cartridge now has a 3-month wait.
For further information, please view the Fuji LTO 10 Ultrium Tape Media Data Sheet
For the option of LTO barcode labels attached to your tapes, please see Application of Tape Barcode Labels for details. This would then become the Fujifilm LTO Ultrium Generation 10 pre-labelled data cartridge.
Drives that use the Fujifilm LTO Ultrium 10 data cartridges are recommended to use the Fujifilm LTO Ultrium Universal Cleaning Cartridge to keep the drive clean.
