Description

The Sony QG112M Data Cartridges are 8mm tapes with a native capacity up to 5.0GB, drive-dependent. The Sony 8mm 112M tape cartridges are D8 tapes that can be used in Exabyte EXB-8200 drives, achieving a native capacity of 2.5GB, and in Exabyte EXB-8500 drives, achieving a native capacity of 5.0 GB. They can also be used for read/write on an Eltant 5/10GB drive and can be read on an M1 (LT) and M1 tape drives.

The Sony QG112M Data Cartridges are the first-generation video tapes used for storing data and can therefore also be used in Video8 and Hi8 Handycams and Camcorders. They are equivalent to a 90-minute videotape cassette and are suitable for all video recorders that carry the Video8, Hi8, Digital 8, or 8 logo.

Sony has discontinued the 8mm 112M 5.0GB data cartridges QG112M, and we have limited numbers left in stock. These tapes are also available to overseas buyers, so please use "contact us" if you wish to purchase some, as our online store is only available to Australian and New Zealand buyers.
