The Teraturtle 519 case has 2 options: this one, which is a 20 LTO tape capacity case with tapes in their individual plastic cases (07-519006), and the 20 LTO tape capacity case with tapes out of their individual plastic cases (07-519005). The TeraTurtle 519 LTO 20 tape capacity case is waterproof and dustproof and is designed to protect LTO tapes from all the conditions which can affect tape and therefore the data's quality and longevity. The TeraTurtle LTO case 07-519006 holds 20 LTO tapes in individual plastic cases. TeraTurtles are designed for those users who do not want unsealed foam to hold the tapes firmly in the cases. This design has a plastic guide, and any foam used on the top and bottom of the case is completely coated in a thin layer of plastic to prevent dust and foam from shedding during long-term use. They have stainless steel and plastic double-movement latches that prevent accidental opening for added protection. There are options for two padlocks or security seals to ensure the contents are not tampered with. These TeraTurtle cases have a lifetime warranty.

Airline transport container suitable for a minimum of 100 airline trips
Impact Resistance Test; samples were exposed to impact using a bar weighing 13.2lbs with a hemispherical end of 3.2cm. The bar was dropped with its longitudinal axis vertical onto each sample’s weakest point from a height of 0.5m. Samples were conditioned at -20°C before impact exposure.

Drop tests - a series of drops on each edge, corner and face of the case from a height of no less than 48cm(19”) and with loads of 6.8-31.8kg(15-70lbs) determined by case size.
